Okay so where to start.
I'm slightly reflective as I will be in London 2 years this Sunday. And its being brought to my attention I don't post on here too often.
I'm happy. Things are really good with me these days. Early in the year things were alright but not great. The commute was killing me, I was uninterested in work as a result. The night course whilst very good and in the end incredibly rewarding was sapping my energy. It was two nights a week took me close to 2hrs to get to and then the best part of an hour to get home from. As a result I wasn't going to boardgames each week, I wasn't going to the cinema often or the theatre at all. So I was in a rut going to work late getting home late and not doing much except the weekends Rachel was over.
Well the course finished up in May, exams in June ending it. And I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with myself.
What was certain was that Rachel was moving over, so I started looking for a flat share for us. And middle of June she moved over and we went and looked at 4 places in the general Hammersmith area. (ed. This is covered in another post) And we liked two of them and were offered both and went with the place we now live.
So the change was a move closer into town and it has made a huge change in my life. Because now when i'm in town its only half an hour home, so we go out more often. Also the move in increases our options for going to the cinema. So we go more often. (ed. Well not last month) there's 6 cineworlds within half an hour of us.
The other change has been noticed recently by a colleague and thats that I appear happier in work. The commute and doing the same gig is less of a drain now since there's more purpose to when I get home. With Rachel waiting for me, most days anyway, she does have training two nights a week, so i tend to stay later in the office those days or get home to watch 24 (ed. Rach hates Kiefer)
So things are great. I went to the cinema on Monday night whilst Rachel was down the gym. We went to Ed Byrne on Saturday night. (ed. He was brilliant, we had a great time) Last week was our anniversary, hence the soppy post, and I brought Rachel to Wicked. Its a great show and last time I went (2 years ago for my birthday) we were way back in the gods, this time we were row 3, left of centre.
So things are great thats what I wanted to say.

Why I comment on this one and not the one about posting? As a non-facebooker it's good to see posts somewhere I can read them.
There should be more games at some stage soon.
adam I also didn't enable comments on the other post.
and yes you are one of the people I have in mind for the other post, especially as you are a google reader subscriber.
